there is no honesty in reality - merely an illusion created by a sadly powerful desire society has created for justice. this should not be thought of as pessimistic as it first seems. nature, to Sentience, is possibly the most powerful known(scientifically defined) force. Nature lacks any sense of justice, it is simply honest and brutal. as we've developed, we've divided at this point. reality is not nature. reality is our perception., it can only extend as far as our senses allow it. to one, God, as he would have it, is reality. to another science or nature would be the only reality, and it does not extend past that.
to think that our quest for science will discover all the answers (albeit past our generations lifetimes), is as ignorant of a concept as any theistic faith. at the very least, one must respect the concepts of hope, and humility that allow one to maintain honesty within themselves. fear of truth drives us to denial, and that is more poisonous than hope.
